Beaker vs straight tube vs percolator: which should you stock?

Stock beaker bongs for stability and capacity, straight tube bongs for fast, direct hits, and percolator water pipes for added filtration and a higher price point. A mix of all three covers most customer preferences.

Beaker bong: flared base, stable on a counter, holds more water and smoke.
Straight tube bong: tall, narrow neck that clears quickly, often the choice for direct hits.
Percolator bong: extra glass chambers that diffuse smoke through water for a smoother pull.

14mm vs 19mm: matching downstems and bowls

Joint size is the diameter of the opening where the downstem and bowl connect to the bong, and replacement parts must match it. Most BIO Glass bongs use 14mm, the most common standard, while the 18 inch and 21.5 inch straight tube pipes use 19mm. Stock matching downstems, bowls and attachments and accessories alongside your bongs to raise order value, and add grinders and lighters and torches to complete the sale.

How to clean a glass bong

Passing these tips on to customers builds repeat business. To clean a glass bong, empty the water, soak it with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt in a resealable bag, shake to scrub off resin, rinse with hot water and dish soap until the alcohol is gone, then let it dry. Replace bong water before each session and clean weekly. Stock bong cleaners next to your glass.

What is the minimum order for wholesale BIO Glass bongs?

The order minimum at Biohazard Inc. is $100. Orders of $2,000 or more ship free, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories, and some items are exempt. See our shipping and returns policy for details.

What is the difference between a beaker bong and a straight tube bong?

A beaker bong has a flared, wide base that makes it stable and gives it more water and smoke capacity. A straight tube bong has a tall, narrow neck that clears faster and gives a more direct hit. Both styles are available in BIO Glass, with 12 inch beaker and straight tube models in 14mm.

What do 14mm and 19mm mean on a bong?

The number is the joint size, the diameter of the connection where the downstem and bowl fit into the bong. Parts must match the joint size. Most BIO Glass bongs use a 14mm joint, while the 18 inch Classic Straight and the 21.5 inch Hourglass Straight use 19mm. Shop matching 14mm downstems and bong bowls.

What sizes do BIO Glass bongs come in?

BIO Glass bongs range from 5 inch mini beakers to a 21.5 inch hourglass straight tube. The most common sizes are 5 inch minis and 12 inch beaker and straight tube bongs, with a 16 inch triple percolator inline water pipe and 18 inch straight tube also in the range. How does the Biohazard Inc. price beat program work?

If a competitor offers an identical product at a lower price, Biohazard Inc. will discount its price to match. The program is open to wholesale customers. Full terms are on our price beat page.

How do you clean a glass bong?

Empty the water and remove the bowl and downstem. Put the bong in a resealable bag with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, shake to scrub off resin, then rinse thoroughly with hot water and dish soap until no alcohol remains. Let it dry. Alcohol is flammable, so rinse fully. Shop bong cleaners for ready-made solutions.

What does 50 x 9 mean on a BIO Glass beaker?

A 50 x 9 spec refers to the tube measurements in millimeters: a 50 mm diameter tube with 9 mm thick glass. It is the build used on the BIO Glass Heavy 50 x 9 Beaker Water Pipe, a heavy-duty 12 inch beaker with a 14mm joint.
