Dear Valued Customer,

As many of you are experiencing your own effects due to COVID-19, we too have been feeling an impact, specifically within our shipment of orders. Due to California’s Stay-At-Home/Shelter-In-Place, we are seeing a large influx of online orders. To help process everyone’s orders in a timely fashion, we have added more personnel to our warehouse and customer service teams.

However, there are other outside factors stemming from this that out of our control that has been contributing to the delays for the last 2 weeks. Our delivery service carriers are also experiencing a larger volume of orders to pick up in our surrounding areas, this has caused shipment delays since the carriers are unable to pick up all shipments until the following day or sometimes following week if it is a Friday.

Lastly, due to the unfortunate fire near our DTLA location, we will be experiencing delays in processing certain web orders. We are pending confirmation from authorities on when we can safely return to our facility. In the meantime, we only have access to select inventory on the web. It is difficult to know which items are Downtown until an order comes to the point of being processed. For those that have orders with product located at our DTLA facility, we will reach out to let you know. However, to ensure we do not cause further delays for any of our customers we will proceed with shipping all available items and ship the rest of your orders as we gain access to our other facility, at which point we will make you all aware.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you, but we want to reassure you that we are still processing whatever orders that we can. Our customer service team is here and ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and we are actively adding new processes to help offset any delays when possible. Your cooperation and understanding are deeply appreciated at this time, and we thank you for your continued business and patience with us as we navigate through this, together.

Our team at Biohazard Inc is devoted to your safety and well-being. While our manufacturing, shipping, and downtown wholesale showroom facilities currently remain open, we want you to understand that we are committed to continue working for the best interests of our loyal customers!

We are dedicated to the safety of our employees as well as our customers and have taken necessary precautions as advised by the CDC to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 which are outlined below:

  • Providing all employees Personal Protective Equipment such as hand gloves and face masks to use on a discretionary basis and strongly advising employees in contact with others to utilize masks.
  • Providing all departments with disinfecting and cleaning materials and requiring hourly documented employee disinfecting schedules to help protect their interactive surfaces and common areas.
  • Practicing social distancing in all departments, warehouses, break room, and downtown wholesale showroom as advised to keep 6 ft distance between each employee and no more than 10 people in a room at one time.
  • Posting signs that indicate if any employee or visitor has symptoms that they must go home or stay away from our facilities and internally enforcing this within our departments

We understand the importance that our products have for many of our customers, especially our dispensaries which are listed as essential businesses during this time in California, and we are still moving forward with our shipping and manufacturing operations until further notice.

We are continuing to monitor the situation and keeping up to date with all incoming information. We will adjust accordingly as things develop.
