Child-Resistant Compliance
Child-Resistant Certified Pop-Top Vials
Our 19 dram and 30 dram pop-top vials have been independently tested by a third-party compliance laboratory and passed child-resistant testing under US 16 CFR §1700.20, the federal Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) testing protocol for special packaging under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
What the testing covers
- Child panel: 200 children aged 42–51 months attempt to open the package, before and after a demonstration.
- Senior adult panel: 100 adults aged 50–70 must be able to open and properly reclose the package, so it is easy for adults to use.
- Material: polypropylene (PP) pop-top vials.
